We'll be there too - come along more The Diabetes Group IOW Gazebo will be in Saint Thomas’ Square, Newport from 10:00 – 15:00 on Saturday 11 November We’ll be there too – come along and say ‘hello’, pick up magazines/leaflets, chat to us about your diabetes related worries, I’m sure we’ll be able to help (we know that World Diabetes Day is 14 November but we wanted to meet as many people as possible so we decided to celebrate it on the Saturday). Bring along friends/family and get them to complete the ‘Know Your Risk’ questionnaire – knowledge is power! It won’t take long and it would be helpful if they know their height, weight and waste size in inches or cm for BMI but, if you already know that then that’s great – we promise not to peek, no one else needs to know, you can just select the score for that category.
